Early Red Radicchio
Early Red Radicchio PGI is an authentic symbol of Veneto agriculture, prized for its sweet flavor and crunchy leaves. Cultivated with care in the fertile lands of Treviso, it is harvested starting in September. The ripening process takes place in the field, where the heads are tied with elastic bands to deprive the leaves of sunlight for 15-20 days, giving the radicchio its characteristic bright red color.
